I just installed 4.44 Final Drive w the Yellow jacket speedo.

The speedo makes the fuel gauge go up and down like crazy. Is the 06 different? It uses a 5V power source instead of a 12V that the Yellow Box uses. The yellow jacket runs off the ECU so even when the car is off, the light on the yellow jacket is still on.

HELP!

 

Check your connections.
Did you use the blue/white speed signal wire from the C101 connector?
(as described in the manual)

His website says it works on the '06, but the installation is different. Have you tried contacting him directly yet?

 

I'll vouch for him. Maybe he just hasn't seen this thread? Did you PM him or email him?

 

yeah i emailed bob (modifry) about a different YJ problem, and he got back to me in about 3 days. hes a busy guy, give him some time.

 

Yeah I sent Bob an email about something else and I mentioned this to him so I'm sure I'll take a look when he gets a second.

 

sounds like you hooked it up wrong
