Default Jackson Rotex SC's

So after hearing news of Comptech and some plans having to be rethought up now. I gave Jackson Racing a call about their new Rotex line of SC's.
Officially there's no info available yet of anything. But they did say that in Late Summer they will be releasing the Rotex SC kit for the S2k.
Also check up in the next few weeks for their website because it will have new and updated info and will be changing frequently. Also they should be releasing info about their headers for our cars too.

If you don't know about the rotex sc here is some info quoted from their website.

"The new Rotrex supercharger combines the throttle response of the Roots supercharger with the compressor efficiency of a turbo, but without the lag. And the Rotrex does this without noise, without oil lines connected to the engine, and without the heat common in turbo applications. With boost capabilities of over 20psi we can address any special needs you might have in a custom application."

Now remember they are still testing and developing. We can hold them to everything they say until the final kit is coming out.

I just wanted to give kudos to Jackson Racing for helping our community out.

Do you know if they have a development car (S2000) with the Rotrex kit on it? Did they say?

No they were pretty tight lipped about any details..but told me to expect the kit to be released around end of q2 or beginning of q3. Fun thing...they didn't know anything about what's happening to Comptech. I hope they will speed up the development and put it on top priority...

The only thing that would speed up is the price increase.

It's not like we don't have other options. An Inline Pro turbo kit costs $3495. Ya know?

No you don't. You should want them to take their time to make sure they get it right.

Hasn't everybody been waiting for this kit from Jackson....for years? Now we only need to wait a few more quarters. yeah. I think its a great idea, but damn, how long does it take to bolt on supercharger and release a kit??!?!

Maybe its part of thier marketing scheme. "With over 5 years in devolopment, we will charge you more!" j/k, just think it should have been out by now.

The Rotrex unit runs on a separate oil system with oil cooler and is not compatible with engine oil.

More maintenance and the oil is $100.00 a bottle. What should happen if that oil system fails???

It is good to have a lot of options for FI... info on the differences between centrifugal superchargers is good as well.
