Nothing like a roots supercharger. Here is a dyno of a Rotrex in a Miata. The thick blue like is the torque curve - take a look at it - a typical centrifugal. You don't get the full torque (thus not much power) until 6000 rpm!!!

In defense of the Rotrex unit it should be similar in output to comptech or vortech but the unit is substantially smaller, lighter and more quiet by all accounts.

Are there any turbo kits for RHD? In line apparently can be made to work as aus2000 has done it.
I don't think there are any straight installs and there is almost no tuning experience on turbo S2k's in the UK (there is one I think!).
I would go turbo in a split second if there was a kit for RHD and some tuning experience.
