Default My S2000

I originally bought this car from Rawhide on here. I travelled down from Newcastle to London to get it. It needed a new clutch and some light bodywork done to the rear quarter. Anyway, got all of that sorted and it's running like a dream!

I've got an AEM V1 induction kit winging its way to me from the US. I got it off the Socal for sale boards from 4motto. Should be here very soon. Can't wait to fit it!!!!

So, first things first, I needed to sort the ICE out. It came with an Alpine 9850ri iPod headunit. I fitted some Pioneer TS-E1776 Co-axial speakers with self made MDF spacers in the doors. Next was to fit a sub and amp. I had the opportunity of getting a box, 12" kenwood sub, JBL GTO-2000 400w amp and full wiring kit for

I can still use the full boot space by putting things over the sub and not worring they will damage it!
What about the Sub damaging the 'things' ?

I did think of the carpet blocking some of the soundwaves. However, it was more important to have maximum boot space than have a couple extra dbs'. You're right, the carpet is over the sub. Under the carpet that covers the sub is some mesh taked in. It means I can put shopping on top of the box and not be worried it damages the sub.

m1bjr - I think you may have a point! The plastic 'sheet' that is above the fuel tank and spare wheel vibrates quite a bit when the roof is up!!

Nick.

Thanks Rob, I think I'll check that out as putting the mesh and carpet over the sub has made it a lot more quieter! Much quieter than I thought! What types of shops sell them? Just a general music shop?
