Default Name your Ultimate Driving Mix

Getting ready for the spring, it's time to dust off those CD-Rs and think about burning my new collection of ultimate driving mixes. This is music that hits you in the gut, makes you want to drive fast. Looking for submissions so what would you include? Here's a couple of mine:

- Ready to Go - Republica (Mitsubishi commercials be damned)
- Beautiful Day - U2 (pick me up song)
- Track 2 - Blur (awsome get you up and going song)
- Dream On - Depeche Mode (especially at night on the highway, you can hear the streetlights overhead)
- Busy Child - Crystal Method (A techno classic)
- Breathe - Prodigy (Another techno classic)
- At your Funeral - Saves the Day (a departure but a good song)
- Spybreak - Crystal Method (from Matrix Soundtrack)
- I Disappear - Metallica (from MI2 soundtrack)
- Fly Away - Lenny Kravitz (another pick me up song)
- Carmina Burana O Fortuna - Wagner (dark and foreboding- can you say Excalibur?)
- Porcelain - Moby (overused but another great night driving song)

Let's get it rolling.

That would be by Carl Orff.

Reminds me....the wife gave me a CD as a car-warming gift when I first purchased the S2k.
She burned it on the computer so the disk had no labels.
I didn't have much time to drive the car the first day, but as I was leaving work that night I popped in the cd.
Out blasts the Knight Rider theme song as I pull onto the highway
A very cool moment for my new ride

Darude - Sandstorm. That one always gets my blood pumpin.
Linkin Park - In the End. Especially after watching that WRC highlight film with it playing in the background.

That would be Ride of the Valkyries, written by Richard Wagner, part of the opera 'The Valkyries', itself part of the four-opera set 'The Ring'.
