and bought Realistic and Apartment Life. Pretty good. Saw them in concert. Dominique's pretty hot as a French chanteuse.
Haven't gotten the new album yet, but I like their songs featured on a few downtempo compilations.
Red Barchetta-Rush (a classic)
Got Me Under Pressure-ZZ Top (this one's for my engine)
Train Train--Blackfoot ("take me on out of this town")
Drive--Gary Hoey (just makes me want to cruise)
Summer Song--Joe Satriani (groove master)
No Lookin' Back--Michael McDonald (hey...I'm 41, whad 'dya want?)
Mean Street--Van Halen (worth it for Eddie's final chord in the intro)
Run For Your Life--RIOT (one of the all-time great metal bands and usually responsible for encouraging me to go into triple digits)
Highway Star--Deep Purple ("I'm gonna break the speed of sound!")
Change in the Weather--Buddy Guy/Travis Tritt (spreadin' the mojo)
Tobacco Road--David Lee Roth (Vai's work on this one kicks)
and finally...
Stop Messin' Around--Gary Moore (hard not to tap your foot on the pedal while listening to this one).
Now THIS would make for an eccletic CD.
