OEM CD changer for 07..Trunk or interior mount?
Picked up my 2007 S2k today and will go back next week to order OEM CD changer. What are the pluses and minuses for installing in trunk vs installing in compartment between seats?
Buy an IPOD adaptor instead.
We've replaced the changers on all our vehicles.
For the cost of the OEM changer + install, you could replace the HU, speakers, add a powered subwoofer, IPOD capability and dash control interface. I think I paid ~$520 for the whole setup.

But what if you don't have a IPOD ?
My daughter has offered me her old IPOD but the batteries are shot on it and we both moved on to MP3 players a year ago. Does the S IPOD adapter charge the IPOD also ? if it does then I could use my daughters old IPOD. I am getting very tired of the same CD over and over again and where I live there is no decent radio station and absolutely NO will I ever put on that ugly Satellite antenna on the trunk.

Mikey..Let me know if you get the IPOD adapter and where from. I am about 65 miles south of you, and also have a 07. I recently bought an IPOD. I have the FM transmitter, but it isn't that great. Appreciate the help.

Although you could buy the RCA PIE-HON unit for ~$60 instead (just acts as audio input where the CD changer would plug in). It doesn't let you control the IPOD track selection via the HU, but not a big deal. The PIE-HON doesn't charge the unit, but you can always do the cigarette lighter option (or wire an additional jack under the dash in ~10 minutes).
Initially:
I used the stock headunit with the PIE-HON AUX 3.5mm jack adaptor. Was ~$60 from Crutchfield.com. It took ~20 minutes to install myself.
Did that for ~1 year.
Worked fine.
This winter, upgraded the headunit and speakers. Did the integrated IPOD adaptor and it's fantastic.

Loanshark, I will let you know...
I have been looking for a musiclink and found one website that said it was "temporarily no longer available while Honda updates it for the 2008 model year" but I found it on Ebay of course. I also found some installation instructions and it looked like quite a mess to install.
I did find this at Handa http://www.handa-accessories.com/s2000-04.html which looks quite interesting, looks like a easy install but fewer options for the placement of the IPOD.
I would have loved to throw the thing in the trunk somewhere and forget about it, looks like the music link can be in the trunk.

Back to the original question. The interior mount uses up the secret compartment. Since interior space is in short supply, I chose the trunk.
Of course the changer in my '04 broke after 3 years, so I have an IPOD adapter now.
