I'd just like to chime in on the side of everyone who says that cd changers are relics from the '90s. Why spend all that money to listen to 6 or 10 cds when you can buy an entire mp3 setup for the same price if not less?

Even if you have to buy a used ipod, you can get a 4g model pretty cheap on ebay that'll hold thousands of songs...

Just got off the phone with dealer. According to them, honda has discontinued the IPOD adapter thingy, because of too much complications with WIndows VIsta.

Honda, according to my dealer, will re release another IPOD thing this fall.

I ran into that when I tried to buy the Honda Music Link. I ended up buying that IPOD interface I posted above, when I get it, I will post back on how it works and how easy/hard it will be to install.

My first question is do I have to pull the radio to plug this thing into it ? I was under the impression that the car (07) is already wired for the changer and I should be able to plug this interface into that wire, am I correct ? wrong ?

Other than that, the cable is about 36inches long with a 42inch IPOD cable so this interface can go pretty much anywhere under the dash where there might be room, I am hoping the car is pre-wired for the CD changer in the trunk and I can throw my IPOD in the trunk.

You have to take the whole stereo off, and plug the thing in the back. I was quoted 50 bucks to have it installed.

Mikey,

The 149$ interface is a good deal. where can we install it?
I am going to put mine in the trunk, the trunk is already wired on our 07's for the CD Changer and this interface will plug right in inside the trunk...super easy 3-5 minute installation and no removal of the radio (which looks like a mess to do on the 07's).

Only drawback will be the IPOD will stay in the trunk so I can't see it and that means I will have to be very aware of what music I have in each playlist (I already know that, quite well) since I will have limited information on the radio output. Good side is that the IPOD will be safe and secure in the trunk.

The guys at Handa accessories actually tried it for me, I asked them if the car was wired and they said yes, then I asked if it would work and they said it should...then they sent me a e-mail saying they actually had gone out and tried it for me (now that is great service)

Mike (hoping that thing gets here REAL quick)

HI I have been using a CD changer mounted under the driver's seet for 4 years now with no problems. As for the satellite reciever antenna it works fine in the top secert compartment.
