Water in trunk well !
I have no clue where it came from, anyone has any ideas. I has been raining recently but I don't see how water would get it there. I mean, the only wet place in the trunk was the bottom of trunk well, not a drop anywhere else. I've looked under the trunk and don't see any opening for water. There are two body colored plugs (I think they are plugs, but could be permanent) but they look ok.
From the UK Forum
I've just got my car back and they did find the leak. It was not the boot seal, it was the air outlets. Behind the center trim, there are two air outlets, which vent the body of the car. They are hidden behind the rear bumper. Apparantly the seal had failed on one of them, so they had to remove and re-seal it.
Unfortunately, they could not find any of the other faults They had suggested that I bring the car back next week and take one of the technicians for a road test. He was off sick this week
As if that wasn't bad enough, the car was an absolute pain to drive home. I could not engage first gear on four occasions. Getting onto the A23, sixth was very slow to engage and at both roundabouts the engine died and kangarooed. So by the time I got home after 15 miles, I was very pissed off.
The dealer has now had my car for a total of five days including the major (27,000 mile) service and still haven't found the main problems. I've had some cosmetic work done under warranty, but the cars still as bad to drive. Should I try taking it to another delear, or give them one last try. Do I need to ask Honda first? The gearbox was replaced 15,000 miles ago, but the replacement is awful compared to the first.

Good Luck,
I had that problem on my first S2000 (a 10/99 car), it was the left airvent (I only remember having one airwent on that car) that was leaking in water. (when I discoverd it I had 1,5 L water in the trunk) All rainwater is running right pass and over that airwent.
The thing you have to do, is to remowe all interiur in the trunk to dry it, then put siliconesealing around the went, bouth on inside and outside the trunk.
