Moisture problem under tool tray

Default Moisture problem under tool tray

I have noticed a small amount of clear water in the base of the trunk area under tool tray. Anyone ever have same or know of problem?

I would check to make sure the seal around the trunk lid is not leaking. My guess is it's rain water or water from washing the car.

Checked the trunk seal and it looks fine. Trunk is completely dry.

I had the same problem.

The mechanic removed the interiour of the trunk and sprayed water on the rear of the car.
The seal of that hole where the air escapes when you close the door or trunk was defect.
So then he removed the rear bumper and siliconed around that hole and now I have a water free trunk again.
