Universal High Flow Cat
Alright guys. It's the tards fault again.
I bought my s2000 salvaged. The guy who had it before me had the catalytic converter removed and a high-flow cat welded to the header, which is welded to a piece of aluminized pipe, which is welded to the Cat-Back Bolra exhaust. In essence, my header 13 feet long
I just bought an HKS Hi-Power Dual set-up. In my opinion the only way to install it is to do it correctly. My buddy gave me his old stock header, which I am in the process of wrapping. So really the only thing I need is a cat. Because I have a conscience, and my car runs pretty rich, I want to keep some sort of filter and not run a test pipe. Furthermore, I don't really want to spend $200+ on a new high-flow cat.
The high-flow cat on the car now looks fairly new. I am going to cut it off and weld on some stainless steel exhaust pipe and flanges.
Has anyone devised a way to jig this up so my cat is precise? Any ideas welcome!
Thanks!
