Default High flow CAT

So I was happy with the sound of my Invidia exhaust until I added an Invidia test pipe. Without the stock Cat, the exhaust was too loud for me. I put in the silencers which helped a bit, but I was still getting a raspy rattle sound from around 2500-4000rpm. I recently added a Comptech header and now the exhaust sounds worse (i.e. louder). I've been looking at getting a new exhaust, but thought I might try a high flow Cat or resonated test pipe first. Any one have any experience with either. It's gotta be 2.5" to match the header.

Thanks,
Scott-

Really? What's the piping size on the stock cat? If that's the case, it doesnt' seem like there would be much of an advantage switching to a test pipe

Other "high flow" cats are actually more restrictive than ours.

You'll find that Honda engineers didn't leave a whole lot on the table.

I would say put back on the stock cat or leave the test pipe. There aren't that many choices. Just whatever sounds the best to you. You should be gaining a little power with the test pipe though.
