Rate the condition of this RA1!
How would you rate the condition of this tire and why? What percentage of tread would you consider to be remaining? This is a 235/40R17 Toyo RA1.
Thanks.

I also have this in the tire forum, so admins, please excuse the double posts.
Please note, I don't pretend to be any kind of professional racer or be able to blast any time attack records to pieces (except for those of slow Maxrev
). All opinions welcome.

Probably another track day or so if you flip them.
With that much tread left on the inside, it tells us that you need mo' negative camber. As for flipping them, I think it's too late to make it worth the cost to do so. Preferably, you'd like to do it before the tire gets to that point.
As was mentioned above, I'd hardly call that tire bald- maybe "friction-shaved."
I remember reading two viewpoints on when RA-1's are at their grippiest: 1) new and freshly shaved and 2) right before they cord.
