clutch noise

Default clutch noise

so if my car is in neutral and the clutch is out i hear a vibration but it goes away when i step on the clutch and the shifter is still in neutral.

It's probably clutch buzz. Can you post a vid so we can hear it?

Clutch buzz was very common on MY00-01 cars. It will go away when you change the clutch. The newer clutches were redesigned to eliminate the buzz.

i actually get clutch buzz in my 2003....... is that normal for those years also?

no whining while coasting, just a buzz while at a stop. doesnt bug me enough to change it prematurely. thanks for the help.
