Default clutch buzz after new clutch

hey all,
I have recently replaced my clutch, pp, and flywheel with the ACT package..
My clutch was going bad... but I was really getting annoyed by the clutch buzz.

So I got all those installed... and clutch buzz is still there.. Is this supposed to be normal? or do you think the noise is coming from somewhere else?

If this is normal,.. I was thinking of Dynamatting the floor to reduce the noise.. has anyone done this who can tell if this helps or not?

Any comment or help is appreciated!

Thanks,

The S2000 does lack of installation to reduce outside noise and it doesn't help when the transmission is mounted center of the cockpit. I don't like the clutch buzz either but I just learn to live with it.

thanks for your input.
i read about people having no issues with clutch buzz after they go with an aftermarket clutch kit.
is this for certain clutch kits only?

I would bet your noise is from another source.

Was a ACT disc or OE disc installed? Which ACT pressure plate was used? The ACT street disc and pressure plate has always had a reputation for quiet operation under decel.

thats what i thought. it was the ACT street clutch kit, with HD pressure plate.
hmm.. so.. its something else???? if i take it to a shop, would they be able to find out the problem without taking the tranny off?

ACT street clutch disc are normally quiet. You sure you didn't get a different disc?
