To answer your question regarding the CR right rear fender/SPO... (Side Panel Outer)
I have not seen that die myself, but stampings dies are often made up of many individual parts bolted together on a base to make one side of a die for one panel. Parts on the die are replaced when needed to make sure panels are nice and accurate and scrap is minimized. I would assume, to produce the CR Delete rear panel they would just replace that section that produces that blank with a flush piece on both sides of the die. This would be relatively easy to do for very little cost.
Unfortunately, the process for forming the trunk trim panels is not so easy or cheap to modify, so I'm sure it was a simple cost based decision to leave that panel alone.

makes sense... do many CR owners just take that piece out then since there is nothing really behind it. I would like to see about making a flush piece in the same material. Would add a little more trunk space as well and not leave a gapping hole... not a big deal... just a thought.
