Default s2k no more!

first off i am sorry about posting in wrong forum because i have no idea where this would go!!

yesterday Stephanie and I and some friends from Rockford were all going to Chicago Autoshow and we were not even racing were just having fun cruising down there. we get about 20 miles on the highway and i get text from scottie saying im shooting flames out the back of my car which has happen before when i get on it a little bit so i didnt really think anything up it. next thing i no all this smoke starts coming threw the vents and i am like shit so i pull over hoping it over headed or something. next i no i see flames coming from under the hood and i am like steph get the **** out the car.. everyone i was driving with pulled over and we start putting snow and bottles of water on it but its not helping. the cops and firemen show up like 10 or 15 mins later but by that time its to late. i am not exactly sure what happen.. maybe you guys have some opinions idk. i think the coolant line burst cause it got to hot and started it but its kinda to late to tell!
it will be missed RIP s2k...

so i am looking for another s2k again pretty soon after i get everything straighten out with the insurance company. !!

here is some pics..

the ac lines were taking out because the turbo sat right where the lines went.

You said the coolant line might have busted because you saw it get hot? If I were cruising and I saw even a 10 degree jump I would shut it down. Tell us your mods, looks like this is the second top mount to eat it I've seen.

ya i think i dont what else would have caused it.. ya i pulled over and turned the car off as soon as i noticed the gauge jump and smoke coming threw the vents!

list of mods!
Spa 51 trim polished turbo
turbonetics evolution waste gate
3inch wrapped downpipe
rev hard manifold
invidia test pipe
invidia n1 exhaust catback
vibrant intercooler with piping
hks blow off valve
AEM fic computer
AEM intake filter with piping
NGk cooler plugs
750cc injectors with clips
AEM fuel pressure regulator
255 walboro fuel pump

some cosmetic work but that wont have anything to do with starting the fire..
thanks for the support guys 2.. i really appreciate it!
