Default anyone else had problems with HardtopGuy?

reason I asked is I ordered some parts on the 27th of April via international priority (3-7days), its been over 2 weeks now and I have not received tracking, nor any confirmation that my parts have in fact been shipped...
They will not respond to emails either..

I should of just paid the extra expense and sourced parts from my dealership.

should I just wait or take it up with paypal? does anyone know if they're on holidays or anything?

the s2k has been on stands for 2 weeks waiting for this damn wheel bearing..

Have you bothered calling them? There's several threads discussing his customer service in the S2000 Talk section (probably where this should have gone).

He responds better to phone calls.

Jeff is a busy guy. I just ordered some sidemarkers from him and got them within a week,.........got them yesterday.
maybe your part was not in stock so he has to wait for someone else to send it to him?????

that'd be fair enough if parts weren't in stock, but a simple email stating "parts not in stock, XXX day/week delay" would be appreciated.
3 seconds to reply to an email inst difficult.

Yea, just give him a call. He's a nice guy. His shipping time might be slow but he'll take care of you.

i ordered a top from him last year. no communication whatsoever, but eventually received it.

I find it very unacceptable when a vendor fails to appropriately communicate with his customers. You spend your money, the least he can do is keep you up-to-date on status of stock of the item and shipment status.

Well, now I know I won't buy from him and I'll share this info with other S2000 owners in my area.

The good vendors stay in business; bad ones don't.

That's what a free market is all about.

same here, when i call i just get a voicemail and no replies to my email or calls. Seems like a great guy from what others have said about him, but when it comes to ordering parts, i dont think i'll order from him again.
