I can already tell you there are faster lap times coming with this little change. I only installed the Porterfield R4S pads today and have only had a limited opportunity to drive with them, but If the brake feel and performance just stays this good it is another mod in the winner column.

Of course only time will tell about street performance and wear but they started out with decent performance when cold, and warmed to be excellent. No noise thus far and too early to tell about dust. I tried these years ago on a BMW and was disappointed with the pads but these seem more civilized and have a very nice feel on this car. I do have braided lines and fresh ATE in the system now.

I had said I was going to stay with the stock pads but after numbing them at the track again I decided to give these a try when Ben offered the group buy. I am happy I did.

I broke-in my R4S pads today at Nelson Ledges road course. Pads worked fine. Lots of dust on front wheels, but the pads were still bedding into the rotors. No squeal on the street, but I did hear some over the scream of the engine while on track.

Looks like Ben is working another group @ $155. http://www.s2000online.com/forums/showthre...p?threadid=4352
It would cost at least $80 for a set of stock pads that wear fast and lose feel after a day at the track.

glad to hear another report on the brake pads. I got mine but I won't install them until the stock ones are gone.
Since I don't plan on tracking the car that may take a while.

cdelena,

Very nice to see the good news. I'm glad your enjoying the pads.

I'm curious to see how many seconds they will shave off of your lap times, so please let me know when the day comes.
