Especially after a lot of time in slow moving traffic my car will kangeroo and only a quick depression of the clutch will stop my embarrassment. Anybody heard a remedy ?
It's just been in for service too.

I've done this sometimes too. For me this usually seems to be caused by the surge when the car starts going taking my foot off the gas, me recovering and pressing down more, causing a surge, or something like that.

Try bracing your gas foot against the center console when this happens. Fixes me up right away.

You can also avoid it by releasing the clutch slower when starting up. Releasing the clutch at low RPM in this car will do this.

This isn't a driving technique thing, it seems to be a fault.

Its been documented before on previous crashed boards Gd, mainly in the conditions you describe or after high speed to stop-start, occasionally happens to me, board consensus I think was the engine management trying to keep emmissions in check.
