On our drive this weekend, I found that I had a different rear bumper than most of the other folks. In looking at the eleven cars on the drive, we found three cars with a knotch cutout and a seperate metal plate for the license plate holder. Does anyone knwo when this was changed? The three cars that had the cutout were all early MY2000 vehicles with VIN less than 2500. Here are pics of both types of hardware on the rear bumpers. Note the area around and above the license plate to see differences. ANyone know more about this?

FYI, my car is MY2000 with VIN in the 600's. It has the cutout (like the first picture).
