rear license plate

Default rear license plate

Is there normally a large opening above the rear license plate or am I missing a piece of some sort? thanks.

mine is opened... i used to think that i was missing a piece but i dont think it really matters.

yeah i just noticed it today when i was inspecting my rear bumper after it came out of the shop

That's normal, I believe. Does anyone knows if that is suppose to vent the trap air from inside the rear bumper? Just a thought.

Not vent air, that's off to the left behind the actual bumper, but the cut out is normal.
