Default Got TSB054 done... So how was the wear on the race whore's clutch??

I got TSB054 done, and though I have not picked up the car yet, I got to see the condition of the clutch in my car.

For those of you that frequent the street encounters section, you would know I'm quite the race whore. I have 24,000 miles on the car, and race a LOT. I have done clutch dump after clutch dump, and ran at the track many many times. I street race (no lectures please) and race almost every weekend in the summer.

So I wanted to see how the wear was on my clutch after countless numbers of 4500-6500rpm clutch dumps.

The clutch was fine. In fact, it had hardly any wear on it at all. It looked perfectly normal and only slightly worn, as a 24,000 mile clutch should. I also had honda check my differential for "noise" (i actually just wanted them to check the condition of the diff). My differential/drivetrain is fine as well. NO improper wear, damage, or anything.

Yeah, fine too. Sorry, must have forgotten that in my first post.

I went in and saw everything for myself, since they had the car in pieces when I got there. Actually pretty cool to see.

Now I'm really dying to see how my clutch looks when I get TSB 054 done next summer. I've never done even one clutch drop; I figured I'd do that just before the TSB when I'll be due for new rear S02's anyway. And I'll even teach my woman to drive stick then too, as I won't need to worry about clutch wear as I'll be getting a new one! I LOVE these TSB's!

doh my other post disappeared? anyways...

How long should the s2000 clutch last under "normal" wear & tear? I was under the impression from friends who own Hondas that they could last the life of the car (friend has a modded accord w/ 100k miles and stock original clutch).

This is my first manual tranny, so I dunno...
