Default $2.75/gl, leave me alone on streets...

Just went to Stater Bros on Cajalco Rd to buy milk and eggs.
Didn't stare at anyone.
Drop the top and pull out of driveway.
Civic Begins to tailgate me as soon as I pull out.
I approach the 270 degree on-ramp, naturally I floored it and rode the curve like big breast(s) (60-70MPH).

I slow down, S.O.B. still wants some, I'm like damn! It's freaking $2.75/gallon of Premium Octane Gas...

Ok, I drop it down to forth and in about 3-4 seconds, I was doing 94 MPH+ and the sorry as civic is like distant in my rear view...

I missed my off-ramp and the civic is too embarassed to go side by side.

I thought, crap, what if I got a ticket, was it worth it?

I don't know, was it?

Just want my milk and eggs without people buggin me!

You weren't REALLY worrying about the cost of gas, were you?

I walked into the shell and told the lady "$95 on 4", she looked up at me with a look of disbelief, I said "it's a really big truck"

Yes
I worry about gas!
I haven't had to buy my own gas for the last 5 years. The "S" is a recent addtion to my "stack" of bills....

I drive about 5,000 miles a month on my company car and I just say "damn" glad it's not my $$$...
It seems as though I am spending almost $100/mo for gas.
Oh well, at least I am getting 24-25mpg......And I don't drive one of those listed F150....

Civics are boring to run but there are a few that will blow the S2 away. I personally don't care about racing on the freeways or streets anymore but I do like spirited driving.

It's not worth the ticket for racing... think impound and hefty fines for racing a lil civic. Now if it was an RX-7 or M3 (etc...) then maybe...

After getting your milk and eggs I wouldn't even consider racing for abvious reasons... unless... RX-7 or M3 yada yada yada

I learned a long time ago, don't buy something if you can't afford it or have to worry every time you drive it....takes all the fun out of owning it. Kind of like the guy who bought the new car and couldn't afford the oil changes.
