Default Foggy headlights

I started to get foggy headlights and I heard that wet sanding them is the best option to get them back to "like new" condition. I also saw a kit at AutoZone that pretty much does the same thing but with some wax and the sanding part that goes on your drill. Which one would be more effective though?

^^ go to autozone and get the 3m kit or the scratchx kit.

Also for reference, try searching or atleast scrolling down in the IE section. Someone recently posted the same question.

IMO I don't like the 3m kit..... I clay bar'd it and then polished mine up after

if it's really bad you might wanna try the wet sanding method.

Save yourself the money and use the paint polish. That's the way I (and bodyshops) have been doing it for years.

When I buff the car I go over the headlights and taillights. Works great.

I hit it with the clay bar to get the rough stuff off, after that I did what Chair did, hit it with some paint polish and call it a day...... I get foggy build up once in a while. It was just last week I used NuFinish (comes in a orange bottle) and they polished right up

come out to an IE meet on a Wednesday, i'll bring my polish and applicator pad to see what i can do for you

So then u buff it using paint wax? Is that just for maintenance though or will this get rid of the light fogging at the top of the headlight as well?

Thank you guys for your responses.
It polishes it, maintains it, makes it clear, just like your paint.
