I have a mugen oil cap (without the sticker though and an ASM one in its place...LOL) its yours for 15 if you want it.

Dont drive the car anymore more without an oil cap, put one on asap. Also I wouldn't worry about any issues other than driving on low oil, as long as you have all the plastics in place its unlikely anything got in (I have had friends drive around without them and a few freinds that had theirs fall off and they had no issues).
Thanks for the offer on the Mugen/ASM cap. But I'm going to take one from a new s2 until monday.
I'm glad your friends didn't have any problems, it's very reassuring. And all my plastics are in place.

I had mine fall off for like 2 mins. Good thing I was top down and noticed the smell immediately so I was able to put the cap back on before I lost it while driving or something.

Good luck with your car.
Yeah, it's a nasty smell! ...and, while I was driving, I was thinking "someone's car freakin' smells!" lol

Now I'm hearing a rattling noise when I accelerate! Anyone have any idea of what it could be? Valves?
This is starting to suck even more...

Your oil cap probably wasn't on tight and came off. Usually when that happens the cap gets lodged above the transmission and vibrates annoyingly. Have fun getting it out.
You hit the nail on the head!!! The O-ring was old and made it so it didn't tighten up. Everything checked out ok.
