Default Suggestions

Ok I bought the s2000 and it has rpf1 17x8 f and 17x9 r +45 all four...the tires are 215/45 and 245/40 and I am wanting to change it up a little because I am about to raise the car some way to low for me...Was just wondering if anybody had suggestions on what tire sizes to use.
I am thinking I want to go with a 225/45 and 255/40 was just wondering if this would be a good setup...I have done some searching around and I read on one post that 225 with a +45 on a 8" was a little higher then recommended. Is a 225 a little to wide for a 8" I mean a 225 is only like .3" bigger then a 215 was wondering if anybody was running this setup and if so could I see pictures? Thanks for the help in advanced I just want to know a little more from people that have ran this setup before I go and get it. The alignment will be done at evasive after I get the tires and get it raised alittle
