Questions

Will it shift into gear when not running?
What happens when trying to shift when it is running? Does it grind when you try or does the shifter just refuse to move?
Can you push the car when the clutch pedal is depressed whether running or not?
Clutch pedal feel normal?

Ok, so you can select gears when the car is running and clutch in then it sounds like. So I am going to say based upon that your clutch and transmission is fine.

Jack up the rear of the car, place car in neutral, release ebrake and try turning the rear wheels by hand and tell us what happens. Could be a stuck caliper which is more common on the rear brakes of this car. If so one wheel will not turn by hand and that could be your issue. Just make sure the hand brake is released of course.

Absolutely. Dragging brake pads lead to overheating and seized brake pads. You need to investigate, including potentially the brake lines, and possibly even the master cylinder. Work your way backwards until you find the problem.

Betting it is a stuck slider pin. If you can get it freed up without damaging it you may be able to clean it up, grease it and resolve it that way. But if not, a new caliper is required.
