2005 Suzuka Blue S2000
Good evening everyone! I recently purchased a 2005 Suzuka Blue S2K and wanted to make myself known.
My passion for cars started with my very first car: 1985 BMW 325e, from there I progressed to a Lexus IS300 (2JZ GTE and Getrag V160 swap), and the most recent [tragedy] 2012 Subaru WRX (it was wrecked by the shop installing all of my modifications). Nonetheless, I am here, with the S2K (and to say the least I am excited)!
My plans for the car begin with:
1. Cusco Front 32MM and Rear 30MM swaybars
2. ASM GT Front strut tower, rear strut tower, and rear lower arm bar
3. Evasive MS Spec SR-C C/O's
I am happy to hear everyone's thoughts on a possible upgrade path however, everything feels so well balanced thus far I afraid to make too many changes!

Welcome
Get to know the car and do some reading on the site about modifications. There's tons of info. This car does perform really well in stock form! Many people just leave them stock or only modify a few things.

Sorry to hear that your previous car was wrecked! How the hell the did that? By test-driving it I guess, or it just fell off the ramp?
Post some
of your new ride!
I'd not diddle the suspension before you learn how the car handles in stock form. I've not seen any reason to change or "upgrade" my '06 suspension but I've only driven the car 4,000 miles since purchasing it last summer. Coil overs are usually set to drop the height of the car. Looks good but these cars are very low to the ground to start with for example and the roads here ain't good for much lower.
Honda tweaked the suspension and wheelsjust about every year and just slapping different swaybars on the car may not be an improvement. Good tires are essential for good handling and are my only upgrade so far in this area. But I'm not looking for that last second drop in laptimes.

Pictures of the S2K to follow!
Congrats on the s2000, but condolences on your WRX........
Good call on holding off on suspension mods. I think many owners do more harm than good (I've driven a few with modded suspension and thought my stock suspension felt overall better).
The chassis is the star of the s2000 show. No need to brace it.
