Love those Ohio mountains!

A set of AP2 headlights will finish the car nicely. Still stunning as it is.

Thanks!

I haven't given AP2 headlights much thought, I really enjoy the ap1's for some reason so I am not sure I would spend the money.

As far as the Ohio mountains....yeah it's time to get new plates haha

Nice build! I just picked up a set of the TE37 myself and am enjoying the new wheels and rubber. What are your goals with the SOS kit?

I am looking for as close to 500rwhp as I can get. The altitude out in Colorado will make me fall short I am sure.

Still the original engine with 150k+ miles? You getting it built or refreshed before the power adder?

How much oil does it burn? I just bought one with 179k miles and wondering what to expect from a higher mileage AP1

Yes still original engine, compression is all 225-230. Doesn't burn hardly any oil. I went 4k miles with lots of vtec and didn't add any oil, which is shocking.

I'm with you. When I got my 2000 AP1, I was dead set on doing the full AP2-look conversion. After a while, I've grown to love the look of my AP1. Those giant amber markers in the headlights? It fits the late 90's/early 2000's era.

I'm a little attached to my cars, I feel like if I were to replace the AP1 look with AP2 look, I can imagine the car saying: "What, I don't look good enough for you?"

No doubt that AP2 does look more aggressive and those taillights are definitely to die for. Maybe I'll change my mind again later, but for now... I love the simplistic and subtle look of my AP1. I think it looks classic without trying to be flashy.

Lastly, this may be an unpopular opinion. Mis-matched front/back ends don't do it for me.

I also have a set of AP2v1 wheels because I prefer those specs a bit more than the AP1 tire specs. Hahaha sooooo yeah I'm being kind of a hypocrite here. I'll call myself out.

Modifying any car is a slippery slope. I think I started with a round shift knob, clear side turn signals, and a CR radio door...
