I'm just about ready to purchase an 05 Red S2000 with 25K miles. I do have a question: Does the S2000 use a boot to cover the top when it is folded down. The dealer does not have one but I am not sure the car is designed to use one. Would appreciate any guidance from S2000 owners before I sign the papers early next week on the purchase. Thanks.

 

Yes, it does. They all came with one from the factory. However, a lot of people don't use them. You can probably pick up a used one for cheap in the member classifieds section.

 

I have found another 05 with 70K miles and it is almost $5K less. Any concern about the miles? Carfax is clean, car looks good and I've bought cars from this dealer in the past. They are reputable.
