Default Question! Please help~ Thx!

I've been looking for a clean and low milege s2000 for a while and recently I spotted a 2000 s2000 with less than 5000 miles on it.
I know it's not normal to have such low miles on it....as a 12-year-old car so here is my question, will there be any potential problems with this kind of "old but low miles" s2000? (I don't really know a lot about Hondas so pardon me for this amateur question....) Anyone bought this kind of s2000 before? Any advice?
Many thanks!

As always (and regardless of make), miles are just miles. If you're concerned then get a report as stated above and have the car inspected. None of this is unique to Hondas or S2000's. Same as any other car.

I would be concerned with the condition of the "soft" parts. Seals dry up and become hard, creating the potential for leaks. I've had a couple of low mileage cars and have had issues with oil and coolant leaks. I would also factor a new set of tires in the purchase price. I would not trust 12 year old tires, especially at highway speeds.

If you do purchase it, be sure to flush out and put in all new fluids. Also check tires for rot and what not.

Should be no problem other than performing standard maintenance on it right away. Rubber and plastic gets old after about 10 years so you might need to change a few things, but that stuff is typically cheap.

It is common for early year S2000's to have lower mileage as a lot of people were told by the dealerships that Honda was only making the car for two years (myself included). This led some people to 'save' their car in hopes it of becoming very collectable.
