Thumbs down about to purchase a 07 s2000

i was at the honda dealership. the deal was 33,000k OTD with tax and other registration fees included. i'm suppose to put a down payment of 12k and i'm choosing to fianance it for 60 months paying 479 a month.

it's a black 2007 s2k with a a spoiler with 97 miles. it's brand new in the display room.

am i getting a good deal or should the car be lower than what i'm being offered?

no thats too much for it, some places are doing 27k before taxes that makes it around 30k with taxes and after a 12k down you should not be paying 479 a month, i put 1300 down and im paying 475 a month -_-

have you signed anything yet? you can definitely get a better deal, like under 28k before taxes

for reference, i bought a new 07 with 17 miles in june 2007 for 28,600 before taxes ~ 31,500 OTD.

I concur, way too much NOT A PENNY > 29K (without TTL). I think even that's a little high as the others have pointed out, but it may also somewhat depend on other factors in your area... among which, in northern climates we are on the "disadvantaged" side of winter... boats, RV's & convertibles are more in demand.

that seems too high for 07. i bought my 07 back in last december for 29k + TTL from norm reeves huntington beach. since it's 08 now, im pretty sure u can get better deal than wat i got.

no. the wheels are the only difference. Go to a different dealership. I work at Honda in NC and I can do an 07' for 28.5K OTD.

To be honest 33k OTD isn't that great of a deal around my area. I just got my 07 this past weekend and payed over 5k less than that OTD. But it might vary from location to location.
