My name is Alek. I'm 22. College student at Purdue.

I'm coming from a Stage 1.5 2013 Veloster Turbo. Was putting down around 280whp and over 300wtq. Car was a blast! The 13s a notorious for low speed pre ignition. My engine popped....and here I am.

I've wanted an S2000 every since I first drove my brother in laws back in high school. Every time I went to get a different car, an S2000 always crossed my mind but it just didn't happen. It was finally time. 2005 Silverstone. 1 owner. 35,000 miles on it. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Is the S your daily driver?

 

Yes it is. Picked it up Tuesday this week. Dunlop Winter Maxx's will be in early next week

 

Be careful in the snow! No traction control on the pre 06 models.

I was looking at Dunlop's 4D for the winter although we don't get half as much snow here as you guys there.
Eventually ended up buing NOKIAN WR A3 - superb winter tyre - same grip like the Dunlop but better consumption. Have a look!

We don't get a ridiculous amount of snow here but worth the investment. I'll pick up a different set of wheels once the weather clears up and the stockers will be my dedicated winter wheels.


I'm looking forward to some nice days! Unfortunately winter just started
