Alfisiti testing the water
Hi,
Joined up looking for a bit more info on S2000's, looks like you have a vibrant community here, which for me is a key thing as I love going to meets and events.
I've been looking at rear wheel drive roadster's for a while as an introduction to something a little more beefy in a couple of years (TVR's etc.). Something I can learn the dynamics of the setup in and then build on that without going out and killing myself.
I currently drive a 2002 Alfa Romeo 147 Lusso which I
to bits but to be fair, the car doesn't suit my lifestyle (I've NEVER had any passengers in the rear in nearly 2 years of ownership). I've always admired the S2000's performance and styling and now you can get them in the circa 10K price bracket I think it's a good time to make the move.
Anyway, hope to find out lots more and maybe at some point get to meet up with some folks off here.
nice meeting you all.
Sean

I fell in love with the old Alfa Spider Duetto and then the Veloce, when it came out. By high school in 1979, I figured I could *almost* buy an early '71 Veloce...but pulled the trigger on a VW kit car instead...lol!
Never lost my love of Alfas or of Pinin Fairina. But the S is my first convertible...and no doubt a product of my early lust for the Alfa.
