Almost in the market
I registered for the forum, as I'm coming around to the idea of owning a Honda sports car. I've been through a number of different cars, and I'm ready for something that's relatively economical, simple, and reliable, but still fast and fun enough to keep me entertained. All signs are pointing to an S2000.
I'm currently driving a 2010 Toyota Tacoma, that was purchased for utility - working on houses, and hauling motorcycles.
Previous cars in order of most recent to first are: 2004 BMW 330I PP, 2000 Porsche Carrera 2, 1999 BMW M3, 1993 Mazda Miata, 1988 Porsche 944 Turbo, 1990 BMW 325is. With the exception of the PP, I managed to get all of them to a racetrack. So far, the 911 was my favorite.
I sold the 911, after I bought my first motorcycle, and decided to start doing track days on two wheels, instead of four. Motorcycle list started with a 2002 Suzuki SV650, then a 2004 Ducati ST4s, and the latest addition, a 2009 Kawasaki ZX6R.
I have a bit of experience with the S2000, as my good friend and a forum member, Dave B, let me run his car at the Streets of Willow. My timeframe for purchase is 6-8 months from now, and I plan to browse the forum, and ask many questions in the meantime.
