Am I considered a new owner?
Well, I had to sell my last S because I started school, and I was stuck in a lease of a 2006 Accord. I thought it was stupid to have 2 cars and be struggling for money, being on student loans, etc. So, I parted out my turbo'd S and drove the Accord way too much and for too long. The lease was ending in June, and I was already 20k miles over, the car had a dent on the trunk from when a tree branch fell on it, and my fiance had backed up into the front and ripped off the front bumper. I was screwed as far as a lease turn in was concerned. I figured, I'd just take out a loan and pay the payoff for the lease, own the Accord, and have a miserable driving experience. The Accord is a great car. Dependable, economical, blah blah blah. It is probably one of the most detached feeling cars I've ever driven though. I thought I'd take a chance at a local dealer to see about trading it in.
Low and behold, they paid off my lease, and I walked out with a 2005 lease turn in NFR w/ 27k miles. My payments are only 70 dollars more a month than I was paying for the lease on the Accord, and my insurance went DOWN 30 bucks a month. I'm a happy camper! I thought I might miss the 450 rwhp of my old S, and I do, but this car is so awesome bone stock, I couldn't be happier. That's all.
