LOL okay, I paid $20995 for my 2005 w/28k. No need to be rude about it.
Thanks for posting it up. BTW, my post wasn't meant to be rude. I just see a lot of people dance around actually posting the price they paid and don't understand the phenomenon. If you are going to post a comment and have actually bought a car recently, add a real data point.

From what I hear auto sales grind to a halt in the past two weeks because no one can get a loan.

I also read an article that talked about a possible collapse in the auto industry. GM is thinking about merging with another auto maker to stay in business as GM's stock prices have dropped 33% in the last little bit.

With that said, I read on edmunds that they are selling new 07 for 26,500 in August. One guy recently bought one for 25,000 last week.

I am also in the market for a S2000, so this thread is relevant to my interest!

You are in Canada right? I think they sell for quite a bit more on your side of the border.
Yes, they cost quite a bit more up here. That's why I'm considering importing one depending on if our Dollar stays high. Which it doesn't look like its going to.

I work in the auto industry. And I think the media is hyping everything up. I dont have any trouble getting anyone financed, its about the same as it was a year ago. The only thing I have seen tightening up is not being able to roll in as much negative equaty on some deals as before, but other than that, I have not noticed much difference.

Umm, I had no problem getting one on my S2K. I have good credit, which obviously helps.
