I flew to Florida and drove it back to Texas. $16,500 for a 2002, mint, with 15k miles. All of the local ones here had 90k+ miles on them.

The s2000 in general are cheap, seriously. Many of them are low mileage due to the fact it basically is a pleasure car. This car is near useless when it comes to daily drive. Reason why it is low mileage is because mainly a weekend banger (of course it will be low mileage, also most adults that are 30+ buy it brand new and use it for weekend pleasure), 2 seater, dangerous, sporty tuned (not ideal for everyday driving, especially longg commutes), no space, can't haul too much things, "can't drive in the rain", etc. I usally see AP1's with less than 30k miles on it go for 18,000$ or less, darn good in my books. The posts up there seem to be very good deals to me. I got MY03 with all factory add ons (except cd changer and hardtop, so sidestrakes, rear spoiler, front lip) for $18,500 with 32,000 miles. This was back in April 2008, right now of course the AP1's are cheaper and I am sure you can find AP2's MY04-05 for less than $20,000 with less than 30,000 miles.
Maybe it's just me being single, but the s2k is a great daily driver. As stated above, I drove it from Florida to Texas and didn't feel one bit of discomfort; this is an excellent car for traveling aside from the lack of storage. It's drivable in the rain, you just have to know how a rear wheel drive reacts and be cautious of throttle and steering inputs.

But if you're referring to family situations, it's less convenient but still an awesome car.

Ravyn, so true. I use mine as a daily driver (except when the weather gets bad around here).

15,000 on an MY02, eh? Well, that was a garage queen.

I'm over 70K on mine. Yours isn't even broken in yet!

Hey, change all the fluids, by the way. Very likely little was done on that car with so few miles, but 7 years is a long time for things like brake fluid, etc...

is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the rear bumper and front bumper dont align too well with other body parts. I know im just being a bit picky but ive noticed that the top edge of the rear bumper where the tail lights meet, the bumper corner flares out a bit and the headlights have a gap between the bumper and light assembly. I noticed this on a 05 when i was checking it out and made wonder if it had been in a collision or not. Reason why i post here is because it was a mom and pop shop selling the car for 19999 05 with about 30-40k mi W/ HARDTOP. Any one else noticed this on theirs? Or am i too paranoid *ozzy plays in background*...

Honda sales down 25.2% in the last month. They should be dying for business this month or next to meet their Christmas bonus.

Carmax prices aren't bad per se. Their asking price is around the same as dealers. The only difference is that dealers are willing to negotiate while carmax prices are firm. And I think that's the killer there in these economic times.

I paid 16k for my 03 suzuka with 34k miles on it at the end of June. Price was probably a little high looking back on things now.
