Default Anything wrong with 88K miles?!?!?

The S2000 I bought recently has around 88,9xx miles on it.

And I'm planing to put in a invidia catback, ricks header, and j's intake.

Is this a bad idea?
some one resonantly told me that there will be problems when I start to mod a car with miles on it, but hes an idiot, so I though I'll see what people on s2ki think?
thank you

As long as you know its been well taken care of, I think you will be fine. There is s2000's on this board with over 100k supercharged miles with no probs.

youll be fine 88k is nothing on a well maintained honda. not to mention the mods you want to do technically can only help the cars efficiency so you should be fine.

It all depends on how those miles were used - abused or well-cared for. I think you will be fine with those mods.

Just check your oil level regularly and hope the previous owner did as well. If so, and the car wasn't absolutely dogged... enjoy it- no worries.

Welcome to the club. As has been already said, if the car was taken care of, you should have no problems. Enjoy the drive.

My car has 80,000 miles and I am going all motor (porting polishing head with i/h/e vafc and a lot more)... so It should run better than new...

Go for it its never to late in a cars life span
