i have the same question. did the s2000 really have 250hp?

I looked extensively at the B&T GPW in both 03 and 04 guise. I ended up with the 04 because liked the wheels, tail lights, interior and gearing better, but both cars are actually great to drive.

Yes it did. Japanese AP1s had a slightly higher compression ratio to account for the larger number. Keep in mind these numbers are OLD. There are new SAE standards that lower that number by ~5% depending on the car.

This AP1 vs AP2 BS is getting really played out. Instead of assuming all of those that participate in this BS are just immature idiots, I will give you more credit than that and just blame it on human nature to claim what you have personally is always superior to what others have, even if it isn't.

Hey guys! Guess what I realized! Mazda RX-8 = 1.3L & 232hp means 178.5 hp/L

I'd say that the RX-8 actually wins the war... and it's even got a 9k RPM....

I'm comparing from an 04 AP2 I was able to drive for awhile (borrowed) Currently driving a geared AP1 and a SC AP1.

Yeah, yeah... I know. Technically it has a lot more displacement... but at any given point, there are only two "cylinders" on that car...
