im am just speaking strictly of engine. we know ap1 chasis/platform is better for track, but, in other words, which engine would u drop in there.

AP1 = 9k rev
AP2 more torque more refine int/exterior

Correct. AP1 is awesome platform for FI and track.

Whereas stock for stock, as a DD with no mods I would pick an AP2. Yes.

I only wanted to point out that the S2000 engine is having on of the biggest (if not the biggest) ouput per litre compared to any other standard street engine with no mather how much cylinders

Belgium indeed still gets the S2000 in AP2 format with the 2.0L engine in F20C2 format!

Bottom line to me is : Both the 2.0 and 2.2 have limited torque compared to engines with more displacement/cylinders, they have almost the same HP and are both great engines in a great car. I just need the 9K redline

only thing that sucks about the 06 and up ap2 would be the dbw concidering there is not engine managment to tune for a turbo application! cant wait till that day comes...
