Back at It
In the past three years I have gone through 2 different cars; many people who have known me think I am crazy. I'm not crazy, just crazy over cars. If I want something and made up my mind I will get it; it could be a good thing and it could also be a bad thing. In spring of 2007, it was freshman year in college when I decided to go along with my cousin who had a dc5 integra to the Orange County Auto Show in Anaheim. Looked at many beautiful cars...although then came upon the Honda Civic Si 4 door...at first I was skeptical going from car to car, butthen it finally won over my heart. Sooner or later I was driving one that year with the help of my parents getting a loan and financing it. I was really happy with that car; hard earn money, countless hours were spent on her..she was practical yet aggresive in her own way...Giselle I miss you. ahaha Alright enough with the sentiments.

In the spring of 2009 I went really crazy and started to want a luxury car...a BMW I have no idea what I was thinking. I made up my mind went to the dealer and traded in my beloved Si that I spent so much time and money into for a 330i. In the following months I grew tired of it. The functionality and comfortability was nice, but the fun was gone..no more hearing that beloved vtec, no more honda meets, no more spending time with fun people that share the same passion...
In May of this month I had the chance to go to the Eibach meet with my cousin who's a JDM fanatic more than me. Stepping into that parking lot filled with so many beautiful cars brought me back to my Si days...with so many EGs, DAs, EKs FGs, FAs and many more... one took me down like cheetah hunting its prey...The S2000. In the next week after the Eibach meet I was looking for cars in autotrader, going to dealers and asking private sellers on craigslist. I finally set my eyes on GPW with two toned interior black and red. The guy seemed legit and we were going through a deal where I would take over his payments. The day before the deal, he flaked out and decided it's a one in a lifetime car he can't let go...I was frustrated, yet it drove me even more to get one.
The next day I searched and called more private sellers. One called back and I met the owner and the car...and I didn't even have to test drive his car because I knew he took great care of it. With only 11k miles, the car looked as though it just came off of the honda dealer lot; Flawless.

I've been meaning to finally join s2ki.com and I had met one member randomly leaving from the gym last night. S2ki staff and members..thank you for stopping by and I hope to meet all the wonderful owners here. Because of the JDM bug I am back at it once again...JDM for Life. Thanks for stopping by.
