"Been away for a while or new" question was prompted by the high flow cat question. In themselves they provide minor if any benefit unless the car is tuned which is very easy on the DBW cars.

ohhhhhhhh. Understood. Well, either way, I’m leaving this one alone. If I wanted a modded car, I could have picked one up for wayyyy cheaper. Thanks for the heads up.

Two? Well done! Either of them match your Chicane Silver?

Neither one is chicane. I picked up one NFR, and one Yellow. Both AP2. It all seemed kinda sketchy. I was flying back from Kauai to Denver and saw an ad for a guy claiming he had a few in San Francisco near SFO. He claimed they were Brand new, OEM, and in the box. I told him I’d take two (knowing I’m gonna refinish one right away). Only problem was I wasn’t gonna pay without seeing them, so I diverted my flight to Denver today with a three hour break in SF. I went, saw they were legit, paid the man, and walked .6 miles with two big Honda boxes to the nearest USPS. I mailed them to myself with a Monday delivery in San Diego. I didn’t take pictures because I was in a hurry to get back to the airport and get on to Denver. I will take pictures when I’m back in San Diego on Monday when they arrive. (Funny showing up to pick up packages you mailed to yourself)

I will ask him if he has any more and post his info here if he does. These are the ONLY new ones I’ve seen for sale and attainable anywhere on the globe. There may be more elsewhere, I couldn’t find them. Even in Europe. I’ll update tomorrow.

Also, the lips weren’t cheap. They were $800 each. I realize that’s a dealbreaker for most. Especially if you have to refinish.

i gave that consideration. I drove an 08 for four years without ever damaging the front lip from day 1. But good looking out.
