Back in a S2K
You're spot on, the s2000 does compliment the e39 M5 very well. Although I bought my AP1 because I missed the s2k...not bc I planned them to be complimentary
As for the NSX, I still have it and I suspect it will see less mileage now that I have the AP1. I've had the NSX for 4 years now and I actually owned the AP2 and NSX at the same time for a period of a few months because I honestly wasn't sure I'd keep the NSX at first. But after spending an extensive amount of seat time and getting used to it, you quickly realize that the feedback of a manual rack and the mid-engine placement is just special. The NSX just feels much more stable and "mature", while the s2k felt twitchier and raw. I love driving the NSX and the attention you get in it is ridiculous for a 22yr old car that cost less than a loaded 370z. But, it doesn't fill the niche that the s2k left after I sold my AP2, so hence I'm back into another one now. Imo, if you're gonna do it, don't sell the s2000. They're very different cars in every way.
Here is a more recent photo of the car from this year. The original one was from a few years ago. Just FYI, I wasn't triple parked! I pulled over after getting off at a rest area bc the guys in the 240s wanted a photo
