Default before i buy one....

hey wassup s2k owners. i currently have a 06 rsx typeS, had it since january. but lately my friend has been talkin about the s2k and now i really want one. i found a 2001 for a good price. im thinking about trading in the rsx-s to get the s2k. all i wanna ask is....is there any big significant flaws about the car? transmission wise, most importantly. and i know every car has its downs. but anything bad that i should know before i really get into the process of trading the rsx in. thanks alot guys, appreciate your help.

Why don't you enjoy your RSX for a while? It's already a fine automobile. This way you can avoid taking a big hit on depreciation. There are plenty of S2000s waiting for you.

Do a search on 2nd gear grind. Some earlier model S2000s had that issue. Otherwise, it's the typical stuff to look for ... wear on soft top, seat conditions, etc.

i test drove the 2006 s2000 and all i had to say was wow...even though the previous model felt a lot faster and revs 9000rpm...the new ones redlines at 8k.
