BMW guy looking to convert
oh hai thar guise.
I currently drive a '99 BMW 323i.
The reason I'm here is I've got severe modding disease and doing so on the Bimmer is too expensive. I've been researching everything from Evo's to STI's to Corvettes and after all my hassles I've boiled it down to an s2000.
I'll be deploying soon to the middle east (don't ask, pm if you're really curious) and when I get back I'll have some money to spend. I plan on mostly creeping around the FI forums trying to learn as much as possible before I take the plunge when I return. I look forward to meeting all of you and hopefully learning a lot!

Speaking of platform, as far as I'm concerned I'm sold on the ap1's... the thought of 9k revs makes me wet. But is this the wisest shoice for turbo set ups? I know the ap1's have .2L less, does this make that big of a difference in hp gains?
