Welcome. Congrats on the purchase. I bought my first S2000 right around the same point in my life you did.

Be patient man, I was passively looking for one for about 8 months. I was strict with my preferences too (to an extend).

I second this, I got pretty lucky with my s2000 purchase but when I was into nissans, some took me years to find the right car. Stay focused and eventually you will have one i'm sure, and it will be just that much more gratifying.

Lol I appreciate the kind words, but it seems the choosings are far slimmer in Canada. Im def not gonna do anything foolish like buy a 350z or anything, although there are a ton of those, I'm far too stubborn. This summer there was only 5 within a 6 hour drive of my house on the market and all of them were like 5 grand above my budget except one that was loaded with rust and another that was sold under me to a dealership who turned around, called my advertisement, listed it at 19grand when I almost bought it for 13 lol. It's def gonna leave a grin on my face when a deal finally comes through but that's twice I was denied even a test drive lol. Budget of 13500cad / 10500usd

yup, most of what i see in these parts of canada is around 16 000CAD OBO so 13 500 isnt a huge stretch at around 160 000 km. I dont want something perfect either, im a bodywork guy. This limits my options, naturally.

Theres been a few that look pretty much perfect at or under 100 000km around 22 000CAD, but ive seen several in that bracket drop to 18 000CAD (13 500USD). Most in that price bracket has been on the market for over 6 months so that gives you an idea of where the market is in canada at the moment.
