Here's the dilemma:

I can get a 2006 S2000 in Rio Yellow which has been sitting at a dealer until now for about $26k. This car has 24 miles on it.

Alternately, I can get a 2007 any color I want for roughly $28,700.

Is there any reason I would want to stay away from the '06? Is it really bad to have the car just sitting around the lot for such a long period of time?

My other option is to get this '05 white S2k in Seattle (I am located in California) for around $24k and it has 8k miles, really nice shape exterior, though the driver's seat is dirty and carpets are a bit dirty.


Anyone in the Seattle area?

or are u talking about the RIO in fresno, ca!!?? hahaha... because there was a brand new 06 RIO when i bought my 07 laguna!!

The 06 appears to be the best deal, if that is the color you want.

if you're gonna keep the car for a while then get the 06'......if you're gonna sell it after a year or two then get the 07'.

 

Guess it depends on the color you want. Worthwhile choosing your color.

Having said that if you gotta wait for a new one and can't, then rio is nice.

 

remember 05 is different from 06+, drive by wire, etc etc

 

not much in the difference dept. between 06, 07. So Pick the color you want and go from there unless your want to save the couple thousand.
