to buy or not to buy...S2000?
I am really interested in buying a S2000. I was wondering how well these cars hold up? How many of you guys out there go for a weekend canyon drive, or go to the track once a month? I want to know if I can take the car out to the track every once and a while and do some canyon driving and the car will stay in one piece. I have had a WRX for some 50k miles and it still drives like it is brand new. So basically what I want to know is, will the S2000 be the same? I assume it will, since it is a honda, and they are incredible with engineering. Please feel free to tell your thoughts or past experiences or problems incurred with the S2000's.
Thanks,
Jon

I auto-x my car and go for spirited Sunday drives, and the car is flawless. I'm only up to 30k mi but people easily hit 100k without issues. The trick is to get a good car - either buy new or get one that has been well maintained.
Agreed w/Saki GT, these cars sometimes really get beat on day in and day out with little to no regular or preventative maintenance. Durability is high but be sure to do your homework and thoroughly check any prospective cars out first. Use these boards, as there is a wealth of knowledge and experience, you'll be surprised at how far these boards can reach.
